Team Leadership is Colin’s key asset, often working in an atelier-style working environment, managing, organising and directing team members and creative designers to engage collaboratively in order to produce a range of successful and award winning designs within a commercial environment.

Colin worked with a top 10 UK architectural practice, 3DReid, for 15 years with the last five years located in the Gulf where he has spearheaded their venture into the Middle East, creating and managing a regional office in Abu Dhabi.

Colin has a breadth of experience across sectors, from master planning to the design and delivery of large-scale commercial developments.

As a key member of the transportation team which achieved framework status with BAA, Europe’s largest property developer, his work methodology was heavily influenced to understand the client’s needs, appreciating strategic planning and delivering ‘Lean Design’ through considered stakeholder management and collaborative working practices, sympathetic to operational and customer sensitivities in both live and secure environments.

Colin is now living in France to pursue his property ventures but continues to work with and support Northlight Architects
