Jason has been collaborating with Cooley Architects since 2009 and opened the Sheffield office in the Autumn of 2013. He has previous experience of managing projects on a large scale with site experience for both health and apartment buildings, and is presently concentrated on the feasibility and planning stages. This has included a key involvement at the design stage with the first two major UNITE student housing schemes for the practice: St Pancras Way and Greetham Street.

He also brings to the design process experience from living and working in Germany, Japan and China, offering a broad perspective on urban living and often asks himself if the design would intrigue and inspire a nine year old, making regular visits to schools to discuss the subject.

Jason has a passionate interest in World Cinema and enjoys sitting in cafes with a notebook and pen.

Jason left the practice in 2022 to pursue other ventures in the architectural sphere
